Thomas Alfonso Boneta, 56, is accused of sexually assaulting the victim in Bangor starting from the age of 8 in 2007 through the age of 20, LehighValleyLive reports citing court records.

The boy’s younger brother was also targeted, police said.

Boneta, of East Stroudsburg, denied the allegations when confronted in front of the boys’ mother in 2019, authorities said.

He was arraigned Tuesday on charges including rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and 18 similar offenses, police said.

Boneta was being held at Northampton County Prison awaiting a hearing set for April 20.
